The Consumer Council retain Standards for Inclusive Service Provision and Customer Service Excellence
The Consumer Council has successfully retained best practice accreditations; the British Standard 18477 for its services to customers living in vulnerable circumstances, and the Customer Service Excellence Standard for its commitment to high-quality customer service.
The organisation has been recognised for the second consecutive year by the British Standards Institution and achieved certification to its Inclusive Service Verification scheme. This covers the organisation’s best practices around the identification of customer vulnerability, inclusive design of products and services, and data collection, protection and sharing.
It has also been evaluated against the Customer Service Excellence ® Standard; which was developed to offer service providers a practical tool for driving customer-focused change within their organisation.
The organisation has successfully retained the Standard for the fifth consecutive year since 2017. It has also bettered its previous year’s score, which highlights the commitment the organisation shows in ensuring it delivers excellent customer service.
