Translink stations celebrate SPIRIT of Translink Facility Awards

Translink facilities recognised for excellence in safety, sustainability and community engagement

22 Translink stations including Antrim Bus and Rail Centre, Armagh Bus Station, Bangor Bus and Rail Centre and Belfast Grand Central Station have been awarded prestigious Platinum SPIRIT of Translink Facility Awards 2026, following strong competition among 36 facilities across the network.

12 sites achieved Gold and 2 were awarded Silver.

Delivered in partnership with Live Here Love Here, the Awards recognise outstanding environmental performance, safety standards and community engagement.

The initiative encourages a culture of continuous improvement across Translink, celebrating employees who go above and beyond to create welcoming, safe and attractive environments for passengers, colleagues and local communities.

Facilities are independently assessed by Live Here Love Here (formerly Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful), against a range of criteria, including resource efficiency, energy and carbon management, biodiversity, health and wellbeing initiatives, community engagement and workplace leadership and culture.
