Head of Reward & HR Services, Translink

Currently Head of Reward & HR Services at Translink, leading a 20 strong HR team with responsibility for circa 4200 employees, covering the HR Shared Services function, HR Policy & Governance, Resourcing, Compensation & Benefits, Equality & Inclusion and Counselling & Well-being.

Since joining Translink in 2012, Paula has managed the restructure of the HR Shared Services team, overseen a substantial increase in resourcing requirements, been responsible for the successful implementation of a new HR system, and the development of corporate employment policy, compensation & benefits, organisational well-being and diversity & inclusion strategies.

Paula leads on governance matters for the HR function, and acts as a key advisor to the Deputy Chief Executive and senior management on a varied portfolio of HR functions and activities encompassing a wide range of complex and sensitive matters.

Representing HR on the Translink Corporate Responsibility Leadership Group, her most recent corporate responsibility focus has been on driving forward the ‘Go-Healthy’ theme with strategies and initiatives linked to employee health and well-being.

Paula has over 20 years of Human Resources experience, including comprehensive experience of managing significant and successful change programmes for national and international organisations with Bass Ireland, Grafton Recruitment and Allied Bakeries.

Board member of Start 360, a leading provider of support services to young people, adult offenders and families across Northern Ireland, since 2016.
