Denise previously worked in the Financial Services Industry for over 32 years. In later years she led and executed a number of strategic change management programs implementing new organizational designs, managing voluntary severance schemes, building employee engagement and optimizing talent management methods. After moving from the Private sector to the Public Sector in 2018 Denise focused on driving Transformational change as People Lead within the Department of Infrastructure, on a specific project within Driver Vehicle Agency. She was appointed April 2020 as Executive Director, Human Resources for Invest NI. Denise has a lifelong interest in optimizing peoples’ career motivations and abilities, as evidenced in her role as ILM Level 7 Executive Coach and NLP practitioner. She obtained her Masters in Strategic Personnel and Development in 2003 and as much as she values her professional accreditations, believes her best learning has been from her ‘try it, learn from it, build on it’ mind set.
