Head of Community Resilience and Wellbeing & Inclusion Programmes

Denise Cranston is responsible for leading the Communities and Wellbeing & Inclusion teams.

She has over 20 years’ experience supporting employers to develop best practice in relation to responsible business practice. In her current role she has responsibility for a portfolio of wellbeing training and events including a series of new Wellbeing eLearning modules developed in partnership with Legal Island covering topics such as Suicide, mental resilience and menopause. Denise is also working with Age NI on the roll out of a NI Age at Work programme.

Denise facilitates a number of Business in the Community Leadership Teams, working closely with senior business leaders to develop our thinking and our work on tackling a range of key social issues. She is currently working with The Executive Office on their Urban Villages programme and has led a collaborative Healthy Holidays summer programme involving business, government and the community sector to help alleviate Holiday Hunger across Belfast and Derry/Londonderry.

She has led and participated in six Habitat for Humanity International Women’s build projects working in Africa, Thailand, America and more recently India in March 2017.
