Age at Work Conference | Business in the Community

By 2030 it is estimated that half of all adults in the UK will be over 50. This means that understanding the challenges and opportunities presented by an ageing workforce will be vital for your business to thrive. We want to help businesses to look beyond age and see the opportunity that lies within supporting people over 50 to remain in or return to work.

About this on demand conference

This virtual, three-nation conference aims to help business and government put age inclusion firmly on their agendas. Attendees can access talks from a range of expert speakers to help their business ensure the rights of older workers; and the benefits from employing them, are well-considered and planned for in the workplace.

Our keynote speaker, Ruby Wax, shares her view of the world. As an extrovert with a passion for life, Ruby explains what’s she’s learned about the human spirit, why work is good for everyone, and how, especially as we get older, we shouldn’t be hindered by our age. Ruby has an optimistic insight into how businesses that value people of all ages really do hold a key to success.
